Bas van Hees (Sebastiaan van 't Hazeveld) and Johnny Deekay (Hans van Dijk) have been working together for quite some time now. Their first 2Nefuse release took place on the Boemm records label in the year 2005 with the track called 'I Feel it'. This was a big hit from the start and was very successful. The name 2Nefuse originates from the fact that these two gentleman are cousins of each other.

In the dutch language you say that they are 'neven' (nephews) of each other. To use this as their artist name they decided to transform it into: The 2 Nefuse. After their first release on the Boemm records label, a number of successful releases followed up among which the track called 'I Need U'. Their most successful release until now has been released on their own founded independent music label: Non Refusal Recordings. It's called 2Nefuse - Lick it and its a cover from the track of 20 Fingers - Lick it. The track has made it into the dutch single top hundred, and even has been used in the popular dutch tv show called 'Pop Stars' on the dutch channel 'SBS 6'. The follow up, 2Nefuse ft Lady Lago - Love me now, also did very well especially international.

The co-op between these two gentlemen has provided many club hits so far. But besides their successful cooperation as producers, these two men also work successfully together as dj's. Because these gentlemen both have their own taste and style, their dj set is always full of suprises and contains tracks going from summery house beats to pumping electro house.
